NEW BUSINESS

• When on wildland fire assignment, be sure to notify Chief Miller in advance of any planned extension or change of status.

• All are reminded of the upcoming Fireman's Ball on October 7. This is fundraiser, so be sure to bring wallets! Also organizers are looking for anyone who knows how to deal craps.

CALENDAR

• Oct. 7 Fireman’s Ball at the Mercantile. $65 per person. Semi-formal with dancing, casino, food, drinks. All proceeds go to Rod Ives Memorial Fund to support paramedics in McCloud.

TRAINING

Today’s training is given by CalFire staff on pump and roll operations and progressive hoselay.
