NEW BUSINESS

  • Wildfire season is probably over. We will be transitioning training focus to traffic collisions and structure fires.

  • Get comfortable and quick with PPE and SCBAs.

  • Upcoming trainings include Fire Control 3, in fire box learning about fire behavior. Fire Control 4 covers flammable liquids and gases. Much more coming, check the bulletin board and/or ask Sean if you are looking for specifric training. Also come down to the firehouse, Sean and Richard are available to train on many topics.

  • MCFA firefighters appreciation dinner and Christmas dinner will be combined this year, significant others and children welcome, reserve December 13, location tbd.


CALENDAR

  • Dec. 13 - MCFA Firefighters appreciation/Christmas dinner, location tbd.


TRAINING

  • Tonight's training is on basic patient lifts/pulls/carries, techniques any firefighter should be able to perform.
