If you receive a bill for payment to College of the Siskiyous for any training, do not pay! They will be paid by arrangement with the County Fire Warden, but should not be paid by individual trainees. If in doubt, contact the Chief.
MCFD dorm is under construction in back of the training area upstairs. Help tomorrow afternoon with sheetrock if you can. Noone can sleep in the day room behind the kitchen, because there is no legal exit window. Also, no sleeping in the small officer's office. Sauna is working, and can be used for detox following a fire, or anytime.

Auto Extrication class offered at COS April 8-10
Fire Dynamics class 9179 is offered by COS on April 19 or April 20, taught by BC Nate Girard. Good way to experience fire dynamics in live fire environment.
Driver-Operator 1A is at MCFD, May 17 (evening) through 19, and May 24 (evening) through 26. Mike Worthington teaching. Class is full.
Trench Rescue technician class 9169 offered by COS May 21-23.
Wildland engine driver-operator class coming up in Susanville in June.
