Every rope bag should have a maestro (pulley/brake device), pulley, one piece of webbing and two carabiners to make a 3 to 1 mechanical advantage rope system.
Be sure to submit request for training, and get it signed off prior to any training

Chief needs all dept personnel to sign up with COS (Mysiskiyous) for Thursday night trainings, This helps County Fire Warden, who reimburses us for our classes.
Chief Miller teaching at COS class Feb. 19-21, Feb. 26-28 in Susanville
Company Officer 2B (General Admin Functions) is Mar. 8-10 in McCloud, Chief Miller teaching.
CPR/First Aid class in McCloud Mar. 16
Auto Extrication class offered at COS April 8-10 Fire Dynamics class 9179 is offered by COS on April 19 or April 20, taught by BC Nate Girard. Good way to experience fire dynamics in live fire environment.
Driver-Operator 1A is at MCFD, May 17 (evening) through 19, and May 24 (evening) through 26. Mike Worthington teaching. Class is full.
Trench Rescue technician class 9169 offered by COS May 21-23.
HazMat FRO class coming up at Shasta College. Mandatory for all firefighters.
Wildland engine driver-operator class coming up in Susanville in June.
TRAINING
Training tonight will be on knots and rope rescue.
