McCloud FD is being asked to submit its nomination for Siskiyou County Firefighter of the Year. Chief Miller asks all department members to text him their recommendation for Firefighter of the Year.
MCFA Firefighters appreciation/Christmas dinner will be on Dec. 12, probably at the Horseman's Club (to be confirmed). Chief Miller needs a firm headcount, so please text Chief Miller ASAP if you will attend and how many in your party. Note if you wear a fire department uniform, you may not consume alcohol, so plan accordingly.
Drivers are requested to participate in tomorrow's (Dec. 6) FD parade escorting Santa through town to the tree lighting ceremony. The town greatly appreciates our contribution, so if you are cleared to drive an engine or any other department vehicle, please join; family members are more than welcome to participate, as long as it is understood they may have to disembark if we get a call. We will meet at the firehouse at 4:45 pm, please wear class B uniforms. Contact Lt. Fay with any questions.
