After gaining a solid foundation in firefighting, he transitioned to a different phase of his life, becoming a sleeper in McCloud. This unique position allowed him to balance his demanding work schedule while pursuing his education at the College of the Siskiyou Fire Academy, where he honed his skills and knowledge in fire science and emergency response.
