A resident of McCloud since 1990, Scott began his experience in fire service in 1977 working 4 seasons as a Cal Fire wildland firefighter and member of the Navarro Ranch volunteer fire dept. He joined the McCloud fire dept. upon moving to McCloud and served for 8 years before parenting and work took him away.

Continuing his commitment to community service Scott returned to MCFD in 2022 as a driver/operator, firefighter and rescue technician.
