Parker began his journey with the McCloud Fire Dept. in August of 2020 as an explorer and promoted to firefighter in August of 2023. He is a EMR as well as CPR certified and has taken many classes through COS to gain the knowledge he needs to become a better firefighter. He just obtained a job for USFS (US Forest Service) where he will be stationed in Alturas on a fire engine. He is currently studying at COS and majoring in Fire Science and Fire Technology. He is planning on joining the fire academy in October of 2023 to get his Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 certifications to pursue a career in the fire service.
