Nate began his fire service career in 1993 in rural Sonoma County, CA as a volunteer. Since that time he has worked in a variety of organizations, including CAL Fire, rural fire protection, a large county department and an urban metropolitan department.

Additionally, Nate is a state certified fire instructor contributing to regional and local fire academies as well as numerous training cadres throughout California and Mexico. As the department’s training officer Nate’s is responsible for Coordinating, scheduling and maintaining the department’s training to achieve top levels of operational readiness.
