After visiting and vacationing in McCloud since 2005, Dan and his wife Lindy moved to McCloud in 2020, and he volunteered with the McCloud Fire Department soon after.   Dan drives the Medic 17 ambulance, and is trained as engine driver/operator.  Dan earned his National Registry EMT certificate in 2022, and is licensed to provide BLS (basic life support) services in California.  He has also served at several major wildfire incidents as Radio Operator.  While still relatively new to fire service, Dan enjoys the opportunity to serve the community, to help grow the capabilities of the Department, and to continue working with an amazing team.
